What is Negotiation Skills about?

Negotiation skills are a desirable asset for all employees. Negotiation can be defined as the situation where two parties or groups of individuals disagree on a solution to a problem and where the two parties come together and reach an agreement that is acceptable to both.

This negotiation skills course covers the why of negotiation as well as opportunities for negotiation. It explains the different kinds of fears, which might stand in the way of an individual negotiating.

A successful negotiator cares about the needs of the other party and strives for a win-win situation. Successful negotiation requires good interpersonal and communication skills, used together to bring a desired result.
