What is Business Ethics about?

In this online course on Business Ethics, we explore the relationship and conflicts between values, ethics and organisational culture. The first unit of this course also covers the impact of organisational values and culture on organisations.

In business, there are many different people you have to answer to: customers, shareholders and clients. Determining what to do when an ethical dilemma arises among these different interests can be tricky, and as such, business ethics are complex and multifaceted. This course covers the imperatives of ethics in South Africa, including the South African Constitution, the Batho-Pele principles and the King report. It looks at the roles, benefits and ethics of corporate governance.

This course rocks! I have undertaken several online courses before, but all in PDF versions. This was a real eye-opener, the animations are awesome and transform the material into a really great, interactive and interesting course. I’ll be back for more!

I am converted to eLearning! Workshops take so much time out of my week, I loved being able to plan my study around my free time, this way my work day was not affected. The course itself was well laid out, interesting and very informative. eLearning is the new me!
